Getting Started - A Deposit

To get started you will need a deposit, this could be in the form of:

  • Cash
  • Equity in your home or existing investment property
  • Equity in your parents home
  • A gift
     

On Going Expenses

Once you have a deposit the next step is to make sure you can afford the on going expenses. The REIN Group will never recommend a property unless you can afford it. We will sit down with you and do a personalised cash flow.
 

Use your tax to pay for your residential property

You can use some of the Tax that you would normally be paying to Canberra, to help pay for your investment property. By completing an Income Tax Variation (ITWV) form you can claim back a large proportion of your income tax in your pay packet each week. This is a Government incentive designed to encourage people to invest in property.

By calculating your ITWV entitlements and taking into account the rent that you get from the tenant, most of our investors end up with either a cash flow neutral or cash flow positive investment.
 

Have your tenant help pay for your property

At The REIN Group we carefully select properties that will provide strong rental income and have low vacancy rates. This helps ensure that your tenants are helping to pay for your investment.
